Hello!
In this post, I'll talk about the Material Design class' first work that my friends Nida & Aslı and I created together. To make this task, we firstly learned data-driven learning. By analyzing the data that we gave in our work using corpus, students will try to comprehend the use of "see" and "watch". The term Corpus (or Corpora - plural) means the source based on collections of written texts where real-life language is used. Combining them, we tried to raise language awareness.
In the work, we first gave the data showing the difference between "see" and "watch". Then, we wanted students to describe them in their own words and made them use the corpora (SKELL and LexTutor). Finally, we finished this work with a "create" part on which students will write their own sentences based on the information they learned.
Thank you for sparing your time! Your comments will make me cheerful!
