Final Post: Farewell!

Hello!

This post is my final blog post – at least for now. Before I took Educational Technologies course, my knowledge about technology integration in English language teaching was superficial. However, my thoughts are changed now. For instance, I have even started to create infographics and word clouds with my students. Maybe I can foster them to create a blog page when they get a little bit older. Also, I frequently use the drawing game, gartic.io that my friends and I used while creating the how-to video. By observing, I understand that younger students like technology integrated lessons a lot, and I can stop thinking about how I can use these materials in my classes when I become a teacher.

I have enjoyed every task I have completed as almost all of them are new to me. If you asked me which ones I like the most, I would say the podcast, poster, infographic and DS tasks as I had much more fun while creating them and thought that they are more likely for me to use in the future. However, I cannot say I did not like the others as I also think I can use them in the future as well though I found them a little bit challenging.

Throughout the term, this course has taught me lots of ideas, and changed my perspective towards technology integration and collaboration between students. It is really hard for me to suggest how this course can be improved as I believe all I have done are useful. So, we thought an improvement with Nida. We can say that there may be an interactive task creating in the lesson. What we mean is that while we are listening to the lesson, we can create our task simultaneously so that if we have anything in our minds, we can tell it directly.

At last, I especially would like to thank my friend Nida and Aslı as we have together created all of the group tasks together and a special thanks to the lecturer of this course, Ms. Kurt ^_^

Thank you for sparing your time! Your comments will make me cheerful!
